ATS Users - Import candidates from your ATS

Follow these steps to import candidates from your ATS. It is important to mention that Brainner will import both the Resume and the Application Questions from the ATS, and include them in the analysis.

1. Navigate to the Job where you want to import candidates, enter the 'Candidates' tab and click on the “…” menu.

2. Select “Import Candidates”. This will bring up the candidate import options.

3. If needed, use the filters to select candidates for import from the ATS. By default, all active candidates for the job will be imported, excluding archived ones.

Filters available:

  • Job(s): By default, the current job is selected. You can choose one or multiple past jobs to source candidates from.
  • Stage or Archived Reasons: Filter by specific stages or archive reasons from your ATS. It’s recommended to filter by the Applied/New Lead stages to avoid importing candidates who have already advanced.
  • Tags: If you use tags in your ATS, filter based on tags applied to candidates.
  • Source: You can also filter by the sources if it is relevant.
  • Created After: Define how far back in time you want to search for candidates.

4. Click “Import All” to bring in all candidates, or click the arrow > "Bring First 10 Results" to import only the first 10 candidates.

Importing only 10 candidates is useful when calibrating criteria, allowing you to test the defined criteria before a full import.

Candidates will be imported and analyzed in Brainner. Once the analysis is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
